Hypertension, one week later


Today marks one week of living with hypertension. And I have not been very successful at doing any of the things I need to do help lower my numbers.

Have I reduced my caffeine intake? Barely.

Have I reduced my salt intake? Not really.

Have I had eight servings of whole grains and 10 servings of fruits and veggies daily? No.

Have I exercised? Um, no.

Have I done anything constructive to reduce the stress in my life? Oh, hell no.

So I suck. And so do my numbers. But hey, there’s always tomorrow.
